2. What personal data do we use?
Personal data means all information that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person. We gather the personal data from you yourself, namely when...
2.1. you visit our website
As part of your visit to our website, the following information can be gathered:
• the date and time of the access to a page on our website,
• the IP address (of the computer and/or the mobile device),
• a clear identification of the mobile device,
• name and version of your web browser,
• the browser type and setting data (screen resolution, colour depth, time zone settings, browser settings and plugins, fonts),
• the operating system and
• the website (URL) that you visited before accessing this website.
There is no obligation to provide the data requested on our website. If you decline the gathering of this data in your browser settings, you will not be able to use all the WrWKS services. 2.2. Activating your social media account and clicking on the “like” or “share” function
We would like to point out that we have a “social media share function”, which means that you can link our website to your social media account (e.g. Facebook) if you have clicked on the “like” or “share” button on our page. In this case, your user data can be linked with public profile data.
Please therefore also note the data protection declaration of the social media account with which you have linked your WrWKS user data to find out more about the data protection practices of these companies. Your user data can comprise:

• IP address,
• login data (password) and
• other information resulting from your social media account.

2.3. Addressing an enquiry to us
If you address an enquiry, damage notification, complaint or even praise to us, we can gather the following personal data:
• name (first name and surname),

• postcode and town/city,
• telephone number,
• e-mail address,
• other information that you provide us with voluntarily.
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide certain data (e.g. e-mail address, address), we may not be able to process your enquiry.
2.4. Registering for the e-mail newsletter
If you would like to receive information about our products, services and events and about the products and services of our partner companies, we would be happy to keep you informed with our e-mail newsletter. In this case, we record
• your name (first name and surname),
• e-mail address,
• service card number and postal address.
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide certain data (e.g. e-mail address), we cannot send you a newsletter by e-mail.
3. Features and links to other websites
For practical reasons or for your information, our website may contain features for which we cooperate with other companies and links to other websites. These features, which may comprise social networking and geographic tools, as well as links to other websites, can be operated independently of WrWKS. Separate data protection regulations or guidelines may apply to these; we therefore recommend urgently that you consult these if you visit them. If these features and linked websites that you visit are not owned by or under the control of WrWKS, we are not responsible for the content of the sites, their use or their data protection practices.
4. For what purpose and on what legal basis do we process your personal data?
4.1 on the basis of a justified interest of Wiener Wohnen Kundenservice GmbH (Art. 6 Par. 1 clause f GDPR)
Our overriding justified interest is based on:
• the personal data stated under clauses 2.1 and 2.2 being processed to (1) provide you with this website and continue to improve and develop it, (2) be able to compile usage statistics, (3) to identify, prevent or investigate attacks on our website, (4) to offer you as a user the option of logging on through your Facebook profile (Facebook Connect) and (5) to be able to establish how often an advertising insert has been shown for the first time on a display (Facebook Impression).
• the personal data stated under clause 2.3 being processed to process and reply to your enquiry.
• the personal data stated under clause 2.4 being processed to provide you with the online service portal, to administrate and to process enquiries made within this online portal.
4.2 with your consent (Art. 6 Par. 1 a GDPR)
We process the personal data stated under point 2.4 with your consent (Art. 6 Par. 1 a GDPR).
You can revoke this consent at any time for the future
by e-mail to datenschutz@wrwks.at. Revoking your consent does not affect the legitimacy of the data processing up until the revocation on the basis of your consent.
5. Who receives my data?
For the purposes stated under clause 4, we will transmit your personal data to the following recipients:
• IT service providers we have appointed: We use assigned processors who carry out services on our behalf. The assigned processors may only use or disclose this data according to our instructions and insofar as is necessary to carry out services for us or to comply with legal regulations. We oblige these assigned processors contractually to ensure confidentiality and the safety of the personal data that they process on our behalf. We currently use the services of ACP Holding Österreich GmbH Wagenseilgasse 3, 1120 Vienna, as well as the services of Nessus GmbH, Fernkorngasse 10, 1100 Vienna. All the listed service providers are based in Austria.
6. How long will my personal data be stored for?
We process and store your personal data according to the following principles:
• Based on consent: As soon as you revoke your consent for the future, your personal data is deleted, unless there are legal storage obligations (e.g. due to corporate law, tax law, federal revenue code etc.) or the personal data is necessary for the holding of proof as part of legal statutes of limitations.
• Based on justified interests: We store your personal data stated under clauses 2.1 to 2.3 only for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated under clause 4.1. If our justified interest is no longer applicable, the personal data is regularly deleted, unless its - time-limited - further processing is necessary for the fulfilment of legal storage obligations (e.g. due to corporate law, tax law, revenue code etc.) or for the holding of proof in relation to statutes of limitation.We can store anonymised data for an unlimited time period.
7. What data protection rights do I have?
According to applicable law, you are entitled:
• to enquire what personal data we have stored about you and to receive copies of this data,
• to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or not processed in compliance with the law,
• to request from us the restriction of the processing of your personal data,
• under certain conditions to object to the processing of your personal data or to revoke your previous consent to the processing,
• to request data portability,
• to be informed of the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transmitted, and
• to submit a complaint to the responsible authority. The responsible data protection authority for Austria is Datenschutzbehörde, Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna.
